Executive Order for Radically Sustainable Buildings

Interesting how the word “RADICAL” is used nowadays to describe natural and recycled building.

This is NOT new. It’s Something we’ve been doing for tens of thousands of years! Hmmm… Just 100 years ago we didn’t have all these laws that prohibit and hinder natural building. (natural building and building with recycled materials is called natural progress to those in the know)

I wonder why we’ve made these laws.

Perhaps we should ( and will eventually) go back to our roots in ancient times. It amazes me that we can work so hard to preserve buildings that have been standing for thousands of years, yet there are laws which prevent us from building more buildings like we used to.

Most “Green Building Projects” now, are OLD technologies, repackaged and sold at a premium for a hefty profit.

Sad really when you realize we (human beings) have been building habitats for tens of thousands of years, long before any building codes, or laws prohibited the building of buildings that have been standing for thousands of years.

I don’t get that really. Make no sense. It’s like we forgot where we came from, and we’re so enamored with where we are, and worried about tomorrow, that we forget about today and common sense flies out the window of time.

I find it ironic that we’re calling common sense, RADICAL. Now that is funny. And oh so sad…

I’m happy that EarthShip.com is actually DOING SOMETHING to combat the ignorance and fear. More power to them for standing up for common sense, and building in a sustainable SMART way!

Go EARTHSHIP!
