Amish Barn Raising: Watch Amish Craftsman Build This Barn in 10 Hours! I’ve never seen anything like it. Truly inspiring work. Not just because of the sheer size of this barn, or the professional craftsmanship and talent that went into building it, but also the cooperation and community nature of this kind of build project. Now THIS is how it’s done!
Scott Miller shot this video with a Canon 60d Camera using a Pixel TW-282/E3 Wireless remote timer set at 20 second intervals. He shot 1600 pictures from 7:00am until 5:00pm and compressed the 10 hours into 3 minutes and 30 seconds. He even took the day off work to help :). The music in this video was found on the free youtube music library. It is a song called Cruisin’, by Scott Vestal, off of the compilation album, Bluegrass ’95. This is why we do what we do. The Amish have it figured out. Community and cooperation. This shows what’s possible in a very short period of time when you work together toward a common goal. No competition, no fighting, no arguing, just getting it done.
The amount of collaboration on this sized build had to be immense. I admire the Amish for their building skills and even more so for their ability to work together.
Kudos on an AWESOME build! This is beautiful to watch.
