Tesla is a very busy company these days. Not only did they start taking orders on their solar roof project, recently upgraded their Powerwall, drawing up new vehicle designs, including a pickup, and overtook both Ford and GM in the stock market, but their partnership with Panasonic is also showing results. Since Tesla acquired Solar City and partnered with Panasonic they have been working more and more on solar panel design, and a new low profile panel, which exceeds the industry standards for durability and lifespan, is set to be available this summer. These new lower profile panels blend in better with existing roofs and use hidden mounting brackets and a front skirt to help them seem more like part of the design as opposed to a bulky addition. They are also 100% compatible with the Tesla Powerwall, giving you a ready to go power and storage system without having to piece together parts and units from different manufacturers.
